At Last Glove Liner that Work These are the very best glove liners I have every found. They are perfect weight and keep my hands warm. December 27, 2015
Warm & Functional The best warmth for the weight & bulk of a glove I've found. Lost one of these last year and definitely needed to replace them for this winter. Super quality. December 4, 2015
Third Winter these liners are warm, soft and thin enough to allow good dexterity. I bike all winter and these are the base layer under winter biking gloves. Like all of my Icebreaker items, these are the top of the list for warmth , feel and comfort. February 10, 2015
Nice, but Fit Not Quite Right These are nice gloves, but the fit just wasn't quite right for me to wear under ski mittens. February 6, 2015
Great Glove These are very nice liner gloves. They seem to fit a little small. They are warm and do not bunch up inside the shell glove. Very nice length, covers the wrist very nice. February 6, 2015
Great glove liners The keep your hands warm even in below freezing temperatures (polar vortex temps in Iowa). Snug fit, I wear a medium. January 27, 2015
Too tight Ordered a L based on sizing chart. Gloves feel too tight, especially between fingers and at the thumb. January 15, 2015
Perfect liner for cool days This liner is just right for moderately cool days. Just be careful taking it off so as not rip it. December 31, 2014
Great outdoor running gloves These are warm, but not too warm for running in the cold weather. Durable and stay dry. December 17, 2014
Great love even though they fit large. I love the weight of these gloves. They are soft and long on the wrist, which is great up here in the Great White North. :-) They fit large, though. I normally wear small, but I would wear extra small in those. My mom normally wears medium and the small fit great. I would wear them alone to drive or outside during fall and spring. perfect for active winter use I used these glove liners on a wilderness dog sled trip, and they were perfect to have as the base layer. I also wear these for more casual outdoor use.You can wear them solo but they will not last as long as using them as liners if you are doing something with your hands such as harnessing dogs. These fit very well and keep me warm. Also, when I recently had a problem with my second order of these gloves, Icebreaker was very responsive and helpful with outstanding customer service. Historically Loved - Now with thinner fingers I used to love my icebreaker glove liners. When these arrived, they were tight in the fingers. It's not like I have sausage fingers and the length was good, but the fingers were tight. I'm hoping they will stretch out over time. November 5, 2014
Nice liner, but odd sizing I am a commuter bicyclist and unless there is ice on the road I enjoy my 5 mile commute throughout the year. I have struggled finding gloves that keep my hands from going numb when the temps are in the teens or lower. I had been using polypropylene glove liners inside my Craft "lobster claws", but these wool glove liners are even nicer and they come up my wrist farther. I don't have large hands, but it might appear that the folks who set glove sizes are tiny people. So, get a larger size. The true oddity for me is that the XL size fits my palms and wrists nicely while the fingers fit like compression socks fit my feet...quite snug. I was concerned, but after riding with them my fears were put to rest. Overall: These are comfortably warm glove liners-order them big-be ready for a finger sqeeze. October 12, 2014
The last piece of my Icebreaker hiking outfit Truly fits alike a glove. soft and warm and extremely comfortable. Just what I need on cool November morning hikes. I am sure it will also serve me well as casual city wear during the winter months. Another excellent Icebreaker product. October 8, 2014
Great! I wear these liners under my cycling gloves- they add all the warmth I need, even in -5 on the bike- a tough ask! And great dexterity when just worn on their own. August 19, 2014
fabric 'fuffs' after 3 wears Good slim fit, long slim fingers, long in wrist area. I am a size 8 NZ hand & size bought a size medium. Fabric looks tired after x3 wears - looks like minor pilling on outside of fabric. Will go back to silk knit gloves from another retailer. June 4, 2014
Nice Gloves I wear these gloves for everyday running around. They are comfortable and functional. So for example, if I have to get something out of my purse, I don't have to take the gloves off. I also use the gloves as a base layer for skiing. Now if I would quit losing them, they would be perfect. February 12, 2014
Skinny fingers needed! I read the other reviews that said the glove fingers were very snug. I upsized and STILL can't get my stubby, chubby fingers in them. If I do manage to squeeze them in, I can't bend my fingers. I had such high hopes. They fit my Sister in law just fine. Jealous of her long, skinny fingers! February 8, 2014
Skinny fingers I own these gloves in medium size and love them. I bought the XL size as a gift for someone with extra large hands after checking the measurement guide on website; however the fingers were too skinny. So just take caution those of you with large hands. January 25, 2014
Perfect base layer for hands for 45 degree weather I bought this as a base layer under the gloves with grips for early morning bike rides or days with 45 degree cold weather. I have used this only once and it kept me warm throughout the ride. Perfect purchase for those icy cold days. January 7, 2014
Glove Liners My husband LOVES these - they are the only ones that really help to keep his hands warm under his outer gloves. I was so glad to be able to get him two new pairs this Christmas. I've mended his older two pairs for a few years already. This is the only brand that does the job! December 30, 2013
Perfect for walking in NYC at Christmas time We just spent 2 days in NYC seeing a show and taking in the sights. My husband wore these as well as his icebreaker base layer top and bottoms, and socks. He said they were great. They kept him warm while we walked everywhere, yet when we stopped for a bite to eat, he didn't feel too hot or sweaty. December 16, 2013
keeping family warm wasn't sure if i needed med or large size. large worked out fine. instead of returning med pair, family member adopted them for her use. keeping my family warm. December 15, 2013
Apex Gloves These gloves are great worn alone in cool-cold dry weather, and perfect for under a pair of shell gloves or mittens in cold weather. They dry quickly, and feel dry even when slightly wet. One of the coolest features (of merino in general, but I noticed it more in these tight fitting gloves) is how they regulate temp. If you get them wet you can almost feel the water immediately warm up to match body your body temp. Only slight issue is fit, but I may have just gotten a size too small. The fingers are tighter than the palm, which was strange at first but isn't necessarily all bad, because it improves dexterity. The fingers are also too short for my hands. Since it is the holiday season, however, I will give these mediums as a gift, and order myself a new pair in large. I also like the 260 gm merino. I haven't tried the thinner option, but these seem like a good sturdy weight. December 11, 2013
quality material, but sizing a problem All hands are not so similar. These gloves are too tight around the palm, but the fingers are too long. So should I have got the smaller or larger size? Maybe "ethnic" gloves are needed? Not just SML but include finger lengths as well. Maybe they'll stretch w/o ripping. We'll see. November 20, 2013
Best of the Best Excellent multi-purpose glove as a liner or as a stand-alone for warmer weather. The long length is wonderful. They look sleek and attractive. The fit is true to size. They are functional and high quality. I wear them at work (teaching), and I use them for skiing and hiking. October 20, 2013
Apex Glove Liners These glove liners are perfect for keeping hands warm on a cool fall day. And, they fit easily under ski gloves or mittens to add a layer of warmth on cold days in the powder. September 4, 2013
Apex glove liners I suffer with very cold fingers when the temp drops so I have added these into my normal gloves. They have been great and have made a big difference when out in temps below freezing (between 32F and 10F) March 18, 2013
Great liners but pricey I have 3 pairs and they are used in every condition. I wear them as liners and on their own. I don't have the problem of them fitting snug or the premature ripping. I have put them through everything and they still look and feel great. On their own they are perfect when I go to work and all I need is a barrier against the chill. I would stay away from wearing these on exertive sports as they will not last (like cycling cloves). December 9, 2012
Great fit, enough heat I prefer these over the 200gm model (there's no point in buying the thinner version). The glove fits great though I would suggest to aim one size up, as these can be a little tight. I wear them solo or in the gloves. Much warmer than my old softshell ones (but also not windproof). If you need some gloves, just buy these. You will use them a lot, I promise. December 5, 2012
SO WARM! These are amazing. They are comfortable, soft, and super warm. They fit me perfectly and feel great to wear, I absolutely love these gloves. I'll be using them as a base layer for all the gloves and mitts I buy in the future. I've been using them without any other gloves and tucked into the hand warmer pockets of my jacket and they are toasty. My hands have never been so warm when it's so cold, -20°C and still going strong. I usually fit XL gloves, although I might have to size up to XXL to accommodate these as a base layer, but I'll have them with me everywhere I go so there won't be any confusion. The added warmth and temperature regulation is worth it. FIT Size up. The only reason why XL gloves still fit great without being able to size up to XXL(they don't make them) is because my fingers are very skinny. December 3, 2012
